How Returns & Refunds Work on Audilane

Audilane is a product discovery and sourcing platform. All products are sold and fulfilled by independent third-party merchants — not by Audilane. Returns, refunds, exchanges, and warranty claims are governed by the individual merchant’s policies. We do not process, authorize, or issue refunds.


General Return Guidelines

While each merchant sets their own policy, most follow these general practices:

Eligibility Window

Most merchants accept returns within 7–30 days of delivery. Check the merchant’s policy before purchasing.

Condition Requirements

Returned items typically must be:

  • Unused and in original condition
  • In original packaging with all accessories and documentation
  • Free of installation marks, scratches, or damage

Non-Returnable Items

Many merchants do not accept returns on:

  • Custom or made-to-order parts
  • Electrical components once installed
  • Items marked as “final sale” or “clearance”
  • Items damaged due to improper installation

How to Request a Return or Refund

  1. Contact the merchant directly — use the contact information or messaging system on the merchant’s website where you completed your purchase
  2. Provide your order details — order number, product name, and reason for return
  3. Follow the merchant’s instructions — they will provide a return address, RMA number (if required), and any specific packaging requirements
  4. Ship the return — you are typically responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or the wrong item was sent
  5. Wait for processing — refunds typically process within 5–14 business days after the merchant receives and inspects the return

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item:

  • Document the issue with photos or video immediately
  • Contact the merchant within their specified window (usually 48 hours to 7 days of delivery)
  • Do not attempt to install or use a damaged product — this may void your return eligibility

Refund Timelines

After a merchant approves your return:

  • Credit/debit cards: 5–14 business days (varies by bank)
  • PayPal: 1–5 business days
  • Other payment methods: Per your payment provider’s terms

Audilane does not process refunds. Refunds are issued directly by the merchant to your original payment method. We cannot expedite, authorize, or override a merchant’s refund decision.


Warranty Claims

Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer or merchant, not by Audilane. Warranty terms vary by product and brand. Check the product listing for warranty information. For warranty claims, contact the merchant or manufacturer directly.


Disputes & Chargebacks

If a merchant refuses a legitimate return or refund request, you may have recourse through:

  • Your credit card issuer (chargeback process)
  • Your payment platform’s buyer protection program (PayPal, etc.)
  • Consumer protection authorities in your jurisdiction

Audilane is not a party to your transaction and cannot mediate or resolve disputes between you and the merchant.


No Audilane Liability

Audilane bears no responsibility for any return or refund outcome. Your recourse for any product or transaction issue lies solely with the third-party merchant who fulfilled your order and the payment provider who processed your payment.
